WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Go Gray Purple Toning Duo
  • Go Gray Purple Toning Masque
  • Blow Dryer
  • 1” Curling Wand
  • Wide-Tooth Comb
  • Heat Protectant Spray
  • Texturizing/Volumizing Spray
  • Hair Spray
  • Shine Drops

THE STEPS

  1. Shampoo, condition and then treat your hair with Go Gray Purple toning duo and masque. This will make sure your locks are clean, bright, and hydrated before styling.
  2. Blow dry your hair with a styling brush so that your hair is light weight and bouncy.
  3. Separate the top layer of hair from the bottom layer, securing with a clip on top of your head.
  4. Generously spray heat protectant on the bottom layer of your hair and allow it to dry, while curling iron heats to desired temperature.
  5. Curl the face framing pieces away from your face, leaving out the ends for an undone, more modern look.
  6. Gently hold curl in your hand as it cools.
  7. Once cooled, release and spray each curl with a texturizing/volumizing spray. Repeat this process.
  8. Continue curling pieces in alternating directions to add volume; this prevents hair from forming into one big curl once it’s combed through.
  9. If your underlayers toward the back are too short to curl, don’t. Your hair will look more natural if you leave it as is.
  10. When the bottom layer is completely curled, use hair spray to help set the style.
  11. Release the top layer of hair from the clip and allow the pieces to fall naturally.
  12. Create a side part to maximize the voluminous effect.
  13. Begin curling sections of hair away from the face. Do not alternate direction with the top layer.
  14. Cool.
  15. Spray.
  16. Release.
  17. Use hair spray to set the top layer. Wait five minutes.
  18. Using a wide-tooth comb, softly and gently comb through the curls.
  19. Use your fingers to add separation and volume, especially on the sides.
  20. If you want more height at the crown, backcomb and spray, using fingers to shape into place.
  21. Finish with shine drops.

Celebrate the season by keeping your silver and gray hair bright and hydrated for the holiday!
